Welcome to my new website!
This is my very first blog post on my brand new website (under construction - don't mind all the stuff laying around - remodeling takes a lot of my time and I'm learning how to do this stuff as I go).
My name is Peter as you may have guessed. 3D printing and modeling has become a passion of mine. I have way too many interests to be able to cover everything under my etsy shop "PeterPrintsDecor" (www.etsy.com/shop/peterprintsdecor) - for instance I am working on a golf bag attachment for the Icon Ev golf cart, and tool shop holders for organization while at the same time trying to make custom name signs and decorative light switch covers...yeah, I'm all over the place.
So here's a little bit about me. I'm 30 years old. I work for a golf cart dealership in St. Louis, MO (hence the golf cart stuff I'm making). I started learning 3d printing not too long ago really, with the purchase of my first Ender Pro 2. I only bought one because my brother did and I didn't want to be left out, but ever since, I've been printing things non stop. Soon I decided I wanted to learn 3d modeling, as well, and voila' here we are. There is so much to learn about printing and modeling so the journey has really just begun and I'm excited to see where it takes me.
I plan on offering all of my practical creations for sale on this website, and eventually it would be great if most of my traffic went through here so that I have better creative control over everything.
Pretty much everything I sell currently is printed on my brand new Bambu Labs X1 - Carbon. I love this machine. I still find myself staring at it while its printing the things I just created, it really is a kind of therapeutic. The Bambu Lab printer is faster, more precise, and allows me to print multi-color prints. I hope to grow my Bambu Labs printer arsenal over time, but I'm only at the beginning of this journey.
