This is a simple and sturdy design made for the OEM Model No. CTC131A Snap-On Dual Battery charger. I wanted a way to mount this to a big heavy metal beam support at work, and created this design. It comes with the four neodymium bar magnets pre-installed, and the four (6 x 1 1/2) screws you need to install into the base of the charger. Keep in mind, this will raise your charger from the base of the wall by 1/2". A Torx 10 security bit will be required to remove the OEM charger screws, as well as something to pry up the four sticky rubber screw covers.
These bars are 3D Printed with carbon fiber infused PETG completely solid so they're just as tough as the charger itself. Each neodymium magnet is rated to 70lbs, so on a sturdy flat piece of metal, like the side of your work bench or tool chest, this really does stick on there well. It takes some force to pull it directly off the surface, and I had no problem slapping batteries in and out with it moving on me.
Great option if you've got metal posts, beams, or if you want to slap your charger on the side of your tool chest, (or refrigerator for some reason).
Thanks for stopping by, and I'll happily answer any questions you might have.
